Audition Announcements

SHAKESPEARE AT SUNSET:
Deadline to Submit is Friday, July 24th

Georgia Classic Theatre is seeking non- union actor/musicians for two Shakespeare performances:
Julius Caesar -September 19th
Merchant of Venice-November 14th
*An additional title is tentative.*

Performances will take place:
6pm -9:00pm
Avondale Town Green
64 N. Avondale Rd.
Avondale Estates, GA 30002

Rehearsals are non-paid but each actor hired will appear in both productions in repertory casting and be paid $333.00 per each show.
Non- union actors only. In addition to experience acting Shakespeare, the ability to play a musical instrument and sing as well as educational experience are all a huge plus!

Rehearsals will be in the evenings and weekends, as follows:

Julius Caesar 
8/25-8/30, & 9/15-9/18
6:30-9:30pm, weekdays
1:00-5:00pm, weekends 
Performance: Saturday September 19th, 6pm

Merchant of Venice
11/3-11/6, 11/10-11/13
6:30-9:30pm weekdays
1:00-5:00pm, weekends 
Performance Saturday November 14th, 6pm

If selected, you will be asked to submit a self tape, which should include a two-minute Shakespeare selection in verse, as well as a video demonstrating your musical skills (if applicable).
